LANDIKOTAL: A woman was killed and her husband seriously injured in a firing incident in Karmna area of Landikotal.

According to details, unidentified armed men raided a house and opened indiscriminate fire. Resultantly, the owner of the house, identified as Yarehman, sustained serious wounds while his wife was killed on the spot. Administration sources said that Yarehman was rushed to a hospital in Landikotal but because of serious injuries, he was shifted to a hospital in Peshawar.
Officials said, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet. However, locals have connected the incident with terrorism. Yarehman had a very positive and active role in the Karmna area of Landikotal, locals added.
